Kevin's office was next door to Aubrey's restaurant - where at that time Jenna was working as a bartender. Kevin and his friends would spend most Sunday evenings at Aubrey's playing trivia, and Jenna would end up serving him and his friends. Kevin became close with some of her co-workers and increasingly found himself at Aubrey's - coincidentally on days Jenna was working. 🤔

First Date! We found ourselves with a group of friends at brunch in downtown Knoxville's Balter Beerworks. At that point, we were just acquaintances, but destiny had other plans. Everyone there (except us) was already heading on a Vegas trip, so with a spontaneous leap of faith (and some urging by our friends), Kevin bought tickets for both of us to head to Vegas with rest of the group - without even knowing each other's last names. It turned out to be the best decision we ever made! 😄🎉

Skin Care and Bachelor Monday! After living with roommates for 6 years, Jenna began looking for an apartment by herself. After months of looking and mainly staying with Kevin, they both realized it was time to make it official and move in together to Kevin's downtown apartment.

Jenna is from Maryland and her parents now live in Pennsylvania. Before Kevin, Jenna would make the trip up North for the holidays by herself. This date marks the first of many road trips together as a family.

First of many matching Christmas pajamas. Every year, Kevin buys matching pajamas for the family -- it's become one of our many holiday traditions. 🎄

First (and hopefully last) pandemic together as a couple. We spent many nights on the patio playing cards and board games. Somehow, Jenna won almost all of them 🤷🏼‍♀️

We buy a house! (or at least dirt). In January of 2021, Kevin and Jenna decided to leave the city life and build a house in the suburbs. Q gained about 10 lbs that day - all in mud. 🫠

Move in day! After months of waiting, Kevin, Jenna, and Queso move in to their new house. Q was so excited to have the house for himself, but he luckily shares about 1/4 of "his" bed with us.

Kevin proposes!!!! 🥰💍 It was a Monday night after a long weekend, and Kevin agreed to plan a weekday date night. Jenna had thought Kevin was proposing earlier in the month, and her antenna was up. But when Kevin mentioned something about a picnic at the park, Jenna tried to change into her comfy sweats before leaving. We were running late (as usual), and our photographer already hiding behind a park bench. Kevin started getting weird about the sandwiches getting cold, was so adamant against yoga pants on a picnic, and rushed us all into the car. We turned down the Concord Park Peninsula, saw “someone” was having a picnic, and Jenna thought we’d have to find somewhere else to eat. But when she saw the sign that said, "Hey Mom, will you please marry dad? - Queso", she realized why she couldn’t change clothes.
